Tekken 8 now has four new characters, and there are two more characters coming soon.
Tekken 8 is getting closer to its release date on January 26, and Bandai Namco, the game's developer, is revealing more characters for the roster. They just introduced four new characters and plan to reveal two more next month. These new characters come from different Tekken games over the years. They even saved a special Tekken 1 character announcement for Halloween. One of the most exciting additions is the return of Devil Jin, which is Jin Kazama's powerful devil form that first appeared in Tekken 3 and became playable in Tekken 5. Now, Devil Jin is back in Tekken 8, and fans are eager to see his devastating abilities in action.
In a new video by IGN, they showed us the characters for Tekken 8. One of the characters they hinted at is Lee Chaolan, who's the head of Violet Systems. He's back in the game, which is not a big surprise since he's been in every Tekken game except Tekken 3. It's nice to have him confirmed. Fans will also be happy to see Zafina from Tekken 6 making a return. She was a DLC character in Tekken 7, but this time, she'll be in the game from the start. The last character they announced is Alisa, who also first appeared in Tekken 6 and used to protect Jin Kazama. With most of the roster revealed, let's check out all the characters coming to Tekken 8.

There are four more characters planned for Season 1 DLC, but Bandai Namco hasn't given any clues about when we'll hear about them. It's likely we'll have to wait until January for the first one, but there's a chance they might surprise us with an announcement at an event like The Game Awards in December.
Tekken 8 is hitting the shelves on January 26, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
