The anime "The Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki: 2nd Stage" has released a new main picture that shows all the characters together in a photo taken by the main character Fumiya Tomozaki, who's using a selfie screen.
They've also told us that DIALOGUE＋ will be back for Season 2 to make the songs. The opening song is called "Easy? Hard? Shikashite Susume!" and it's also DIALOGUE＋'s 10th single. The ending song is "Dareka janai Kara."
"Bottom-Tier Character Tomozaki" is an anime series based on light novels written by Yuuki Yaku and illustrated by Fly. These novels are published by Shogakukan under the Gagaga Bunko label. The first season, released in 2021, had 12 episodes, and the upcoming second season, called "2nd Stage," is set to premiere in January 2024 with 13 episodes.
Yen Press describes the light novels as: "Tomozaki is one of the best gamers in Japan, and in his opinion, the game of real life is one of the worst. No clear-cut rules for success, horribly balanced, and nothing makes sense. But then he meets a gamer who’s just as good as him, and she offers to teach him a few exploits…"
The book series started in 2016 and has 12 books, with two additional ones containing short stories, up to January 2022. These books also led to a comic version by Eito Chida and another Minami Nanami comic by Bana Yoshida.
