Voice actor Junya Enoki's talent management agency, Atomic Monkey, has revealed that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19. Enoki began feeling unwell before September 1 and sought medical help. After a PCR test, it was confirmed that he had COVID-19, but the agency didn't specify how severe his symptoms were.

Atomic Monkey also announced that Enoki will be taking a break from work to focus on his health. He will be under the care of medical professionals during his recovery.

Due to his illness, Enoki will not be able to attend two scheduled events: the "Chikahiro Kobayashi Birthday Fan Meeting 2023" and the preview and stage greetings for the Alice and Therese's Illusion Factory movie. Atomic Monkey apologized to Enoki's fans and requested their understanding, emphasizing their commitment to the health and well-being of their talents, employees, and customers.

What's on the Horizon for Jujutsu Kaisen?

Enoki, the voice actor for Yuji in Jujutsu Kaisen, shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account that he's taking a break due to his COVID-19 diagnosis. He said sorry to fans who might be disappointed and many fans online showed their support, telling him to prioritize his health. They hope he gets well soon and returns to the anime.

Even though Yuji's voice actor is on a break, the Jujutsu Kaisen anime is still airing. The second part of Season 2 will cover a big event from the manga called the Shibuya Incident, where a huge battle between curses and sorcerers happens in Tokyo.

You can watch Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 on Crunchyroll.
