Bray Wyatt, known as the Eater of Worlds, has once again vanished from WWE programming. His return to the company last fall had generated significant excitement, as he emerged as the enigmatic figure behind the cryptic "white rabbit" teasers on Monday Night Raw and WWE SmackDown. Wyatt even addressed the WWE audience as a babyface for the first time in his career, and it seemed like he was being positioned as the top heroic character on the blue brand. However, things took an unexpected turn when Wyatt's slow-burning feud with the mysterious Uncle Howdy failed to culminate in any meaningful resolution, despite five months of cryptic monologues.
Wyatt was set to face Bobby Lashley at WWE WrestleMania 39, but unfortunately, an untimely illness prevented him from competing, leading to the cancellation of the match altogether.
Although WWE television has not directly hinted at Wyatt's return, an intriguing update on the company's roster page on WWE.com suggests that he may make a comeback soon, reprising a familiar gimmick. Wyatt's profile picture has been replaced with an image of his sinister alter ego, "The Fiend," and his bio now includes a detailed history of this demonic persona. It's worth mentioning that there is no reference to Uncle Howdy in his biography.
Speculations have been circulating recently about WWE's interest in having Wyatt revive his "The Fiend" persona. However, collaborator Jason Baker dismissed this possibility, stating that all of The Fiend's masks were "ruined" last year. Nevertheless, it remains conceivable that new masks could be crafted.
