Big AEW Dynamite Title Switcheroo!

Big AEW Dynamite Title Switcheroo!

Since Tony Khan bought Ring of Honor in early 2022, there has been a close connection between that brand and All Elite Wrestling. AEW wrestlers have appeared in ROH's first set of pay-per-views under Khan's ownership, and by the end of the year, all of ROH's championships were held by AEW stars. Today, ROH has developed its own identity through its weekly TV show, but it still collaborates with AEW.

For instance, Eddie Kingston and MJF, who are regulars on AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision, also hold titles in ROH. The most recent example of this collaboration was when Hangman Page and the Young Bucks won the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championships by defeating The Mogul Embassy at AEW Rampage: Grand Slam. This marked their second time holding these titles.

The Elite Surprising Defeat in Losing ROH Six-Man Titles

Tonight on AEW Dynamite, The Mogul Embassy won back the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championships by defeating The Elite. Brian Cage and the Gates of Agony had more team members with the help of Swerve Strickland. Swerve teased Hangman Page on the entrance ramp, causing Hangman to go after him, which left the Young Bucks with only two members against The Mogul Embassy's three.

Next, the big-shot diplomats quickly grabbed the easy win, getting the 1-2-3 without any trouble. When the match ended, Matt Jackson was really angry, he even tossed a table near the ring and swung a chair at the ring corners.

The Mogul Embassy team recently started their second time holding the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championships. They first won these titles at ROH Final Battle in December 2022 and kept them until September when they briefly lost them to The Elite.
