A new picture has been shared for the current Pokémon Horizons: The Series, which is the 26th season of the Pokémon TV show. The picture shows Liko, Roy, and the other important characters of the show, and there's a shadow of a mysterious Pokémon in the background.
Pokémon Horizons made its debut on April 14, 2023, and is currently in the "Terapagos no Kagayaki" storyline, which began airing on October 27, 2023.
Saori Den, who worked on the opening for Pokémon: Kami to Yobareshi Arceus and directed episodes for Pokémon Journeys: The Series, is leading this new season. Daiki Tomiyasu, known as the chief director for Pokémon Journeys: The Series, is overseeing the creative direction. Tetsuo Yajima, the director of Pokémon the Movie: Secrets of the Jungle and an episode director for Summer Time Rendering, is responsible for the action scenes. Dai Satou, known for his work on Yurei Deco, is the series screenwriter. The music for the series is composed by Conisch, who also worked on Pokémon: Hisuian Snow. The animation is produced by OLM.
Rei Yamazaki, a co-designer for Pokémon in Pokémon Journeys: The Series, is in charge of character design, and Kyouko Itou, an animation director for Pokémon Journeys: The Series, is the sub-character designer.
The main voice cast for the project includes Minori Suzuki, who provides the voice for Liko, as well as Yuka Terasaki, who takes on the role of Roy. Taku Yashiro lends his voice to the character Friede, and Ikue Ootani brings Captain Pikachu to life with her voice acting talent.
Pokémon Horizons: The Series is about Liko, who comes from Paldea, Roy from Kanto, and Friede. They travel around the Pokémon world, discovering the secrets of Liko's necklace and Roy's Poké Ball.
