Insomniac's newest update keeps working on fixing different issues in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.
Today, Insomniac Games rolled out another new update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 on PlayStation 5. Since late October, Insomniac has been steadily releasing patches for Spider-Man 2 to fix various issues discovered in the game. This trend continues with a fresh update addressing a short list of problems encountered by players.
The latest update, version 1.001.004 for Marvel's Spider-Man 2, is now available for download. It doesn't introduce major changes to the gameplay but is entirely dedicated to fixing many bugs. Some of these bugs are related to specific quests, while others impact gameplay mechanics or visuals. Notably, this update does not yet include the addition of New Game+ to Spider-Man 2, but it's expected to arrive before the end of 2023.
Looking ahead, there are still unanswered questions about possible future DLC for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. As of now, the Insomniac team hasn't confirmed whether there will be extra content for the superhero game. Nevertheless, numerous Spider-Man 2 players have begun to discover hidden elements within the game that might suggest the arrival of DLC. If there are plans for additional content in Marvel's Spider-Man 2 in the future, hopefully, we'll receive more information about it soon.
