Ubisoft Supposedly Has 11 Assassin's Creed Games in Production

It's no secret that Ubisoft is heavily invested in the Assassin's Creed franchise, with Mirage and several other announced games currently in development. However, a recent report from Insider Gaming has shed light on the extensive scope of Ubisoft's plans, revealing that there are currently 11 Assassin's Creed games in various stages of development. According to the report, these projects are expected to span at least until 2026, if not further.

While some of these titles, such as Assassin's Creed Mirage, Nexus, and Jade, have already been revealed, the report unveils several yet-to-be-announced projects. Mirage aims to capture the essence of the early Assassin's Creed games that fans cherished, Nexus will explore the franchise in the realm of virtual reality, and Jade will be the next installment in the mobile game series. It's worth noting that the report's credibility is bolstered by Insider Gaming's track record of accurately leaking game projects in the past.

With 11 games in the works, it's clear that Ubisoft is committed to delivering a wealth of new content to fans of the franchise in the coming years. The diverse range of projects indicates that Ubisoft is exploring different platforms and styles to provide players with fresh experiences within the Assassin's Creed universe.

Additionally, there are already known projects in the works, such as Red and Hexe. These two titles are reportedly single-player experiences, with Hexe exploring the theme of witchcraft and Red transporting players to Japan. On the multiplayer front, Ubisoft is developing Invictus, although details about this game remain scarce. Moving forward, Ubisoft has plans for Codename Nebula, developed by the team behind Rogue, which promises to offer gameplay across three distinct settings. Codename Raid is a 4-player co-op game that allegedly features characters from various entries in the Assassin's Creed universe. Another multiplayer title known as Codename Echoes is also in development, but details about this project are limited at this time. Furthermore, leaks suggest that we can anticipate the release of Nexus 2, building upon the virtual reality experience of the original, and a highly anticipated remake of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag.

With this ambitious lineup of 11 games, Ubisoft is clearly committed to expanding the Assassin's Creed franchise across a variety of genres, settings, and play styles. While these leaks provide exciting possibilities for fans, it's important to await official announcements from Ubisoft for confirmed details on each project.

Indeed, the specific release order of these games is not yet known and is subject to change. The order in which they were leaked may not necessarily reflect the actual release order. However, Ubisoft's dedication to the Assassin's Creed franchise appears strong and comparable to long-standing franchises like Call of Duty. Fans of the series can look forward to a plentiful selection of Assassin's Creed titles in the coming years, ensuring plenty of content to enjoy.
