Originally greenlit for Cartoon Network, My Adventures With Superman was moved to Adult Swim's late-night programming block in March, joining other cartoons like Genndy Tartakovsky's Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. This decision was made in the aftermath of Warner Bros. Discovery's restructuring in 2022, which involved the cancellation of several projects, including the shelving of Scoob! Holiday Haunt and the removal of 36 shows from its then-streaming service HBO Max. Among the series that were taken off HBO Max were beloved animated shows such as Infinity Train, OK K.O.! – Let’s Be Heroes, and Uncle Grandpa, which were originally aired on HBO Max and Cartoon Network.
