All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is going all in. Five years after the independent wrestling event that inspired the company's launch took place at Chicago's Sears Centre Arena, AEW is resurrecting the ALL IN name for its most significant show to date: AEW ALL IN: London, which will be held at Wembley Stadium. This event marks two major firsts for Tony Khan's promotion: it is their inaugural visit to the United Kingdom and their first time organizing a stadium show. Early ticket sales have been extremely promising, with AEW ALL IN: London breaking the company's previous record for pre-sales alone. As a result, AEW is edging closer to a complete sellout.
According to WrestleTix, AEW ALL IN: London has already distributed 74,888 tickets. The current configuration of Wembley Stadium allows for a capacity of 87,825 attendees, leaving only 12,937 tickets remaining at the moment. However, it is possible that AEW may decide to further expand the capacity.
It's worth noting that AEW has achieved these impressive ticket sales without announcing any matches for the event. While posters and advertisements have hinted at the participation of numerous top stars in the company, there has been no official word on the actual wrestling matchups that will take place at Wembley.
One potential bout that seems destined for AEW ALL IN: London is a clash between Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega. These two competitors have engaged in a war of words for years and finally collided in the ring this past January at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17. Omega emerged victorious, decisively defeating Ospreay to claim the IWGP United States Championship. However, Ospreay gained his revenge last month at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, recapturing the championship and stunning Omega in his home country of Canada. In a post-victory interview, Ospreay hinted at knowing an ideal location for their third encounter, suggesting that Wembley Stadium, located just 40 minutes away from his home in the UK, could be the perfect setting for their next clash.
AEW's highly anticipated event, ALL IN: London, is scheduled to take place on Sunday, August 27th.

"I can't provide a definitive answer to that just yet," stated AEW President Tony Khan in May. "We are still in the process of figuring out the logistics for that event and how we plan to present it. I believe it will be, thus far, the grandest event in AEW's history. Moreover, it is currently on track to become the biggest wrestling spectacle ever witnessed in England, which is truly remarkable considering the country's vast population and rich pro wrestling legacy spanning numerous decades."
