Kadokawa, who is known for turning Isekai light novels into anime, has brought these two series together for a cute chibi anime, showing how the characters from both worlds interact. While there's no news about a new season of Isekai Quartet, fans can enjoy this special crossover to see how similar these two series are.

"The Eminence in Shadow" and "Overlord" both have main characters who were transported to different worlds and became incredibly powerful. They are supported by strong allies and have become dominant in their own worlds. In a special anime crossover, they imagine what it would be like if Cid Kagenou and Ains Ooal Gown swapped bodies and had to pretend to be each other, leading to funny situations.
