Jewelry Bonney's Devil Fruit

One Piece has been around for a long time, and its creator, Eiichiro Oda, is really good at keeping the story's secrets straight. He's great at surprises and making sure everything makes sense in the world he's created. This is even more impressive when you think about all the special powers, like Devil Fruits, in One Piece. And recently, fans are getting to know more about Jewelry Bonney's Devil Fruit power.

In the past, Oda has shown us Bonney using her power, but he never told us what her Devil Fruit was. But in the latest issue of SBS, when a fan asked about her power, Oda admitted he forgot to tell fans about it. Her Devil Fruit is called the Toshi Toshi no Mi.

"I've been asked many times and I noticed and thought to myself "I haven't revealed it yet?" It's the "Toshi-Toshi no Mi" which allows the user to freely alter ages. For the sake of those who don't read the SBS, I need to mention this in the main story too," Oda explained (via PewPiece).

For those interested in the Toshi Toshi no Mi, the name has two possible meanings in Japanese. It can mean the "Age Age Fruit" or the "Year Year Fruit," and the first name fits better. This Devil Fruit power works on all sorts of things, like people and objects. As for the years taken by this Devil Fruit, they transform into the valuable gems that Jewelry Bonney is named after.

Lately, the One Piece manga has been focusing a lot on Bonney's story, especially her connection to Kuma. We can anticipate that Oda will share more information about their relationship in the upcoming chapters. If you haven't kept up with the manga, you can easily catch up by reading it on the Shonen Jump app or Manga Plus. To learn more about One Piece, you can read the official summary below:
