Wendy's will bring back the Peppermint Frosty later this month.
Wendy's is switching up its Frosty lineup again. They just announced the comeback of their Peppermint Frosty, a tasty winter treat that's fairly new on their menu. The minty Frosty will be back at Wendy's starting on November 14th. But here's the scoop – if you're at BravoCon in Las Vegas this weekend (November 3 - November 5), you'll be lucky enough to try it before everyone else.
Whenever Wendy's introduces a new Frosty flavor, it usually means they swap it out for the Vanilla Frosty for a limited time. So, for now, you'll find Chocolate and Peppermint Frostys on Wendy's menu.
The Peppermint Frosty is back for the second year, and it was first introduced last Thanksgiving.
"The Peppermint Frosty is our latest flavor innovation on the iconic Wendy's Frosty that fans have come to know and love for over 50 years. It's the classic thick and creamy Frosty that our fans crave with bursts of fresh peppermint – every sweet bite will put you in the holiday spirit," John Li, Vice President of Culinary Innovation for the Wendy's Company, said at the time.
"Folks enjoyed the strawberry Frosty enough that we knew it was important to get after another flavor and one that would tie well with the holidays. Peppermint is amazing, and it's a great way to ring in the holiday season."
It's an accelerated path, but it's something we've been working on for a few years. [Peppermint] was a flavor that we knew consumers liked — ultimately, the commercialization piece [was an aspect] we needed to finalize quickly, but it's been something we had our minds," Wendy's chief marketer Carl Loredo explained.
Wendy's is going to keep serving its Pumpkin Spice Frosty for another two weeks, and then they'll bring out the Peppermint Frosty. They'll do this until they run out of the Pumpkin Spice Frosty.
