Chihayafuru's Next Chapter Announced!

Chihayafuru is going to have another part because they just announced a manga spin-off called Chihayafuru Plus Kimigatame.

The Chihayafuru sequel follows the story of a high school freshman named Ritsu Nagara. He's determined to win the national high school karuta tournament. When he starts high school, Ritsu joins a karuta club and partners with his classmates. The sequel will focus on his journey to become the best in the game.

Fans of the original Chihayafuru series can look forward to seeing some familiar faces. Chihaya is still pursuing her dream of becoming the karuta queen. And you can expect appearances from characters like Arata and Taichi, who are some of Yuki Suetsugu's most beloved creations.
