Attack on Titan Team Just Finished a Big Part of Its Finale

A big chunk of the Attack on Titan anime has been completed to prepare for the Scout Regiment's final mission.

On November 4th, Studio MAPPA will air the last episode of the Attack on Titan anime. This show began more than ten years ago and has become really popular because of its dark and intense story about the Scout Regiment. With the final episode coming soon, it means that a big part of the work by MAPPA is done, and we're about to see the big showdown with Eren Jaeger and the Survey Corps.

The last time we saw Eren Jaeger and the Rumbling, they had almost achieved their goal of wiping out a lot of the world's people. The Scout Regiment managed to find an airship just in time to confront their former friend, but it came at a great cost. To give her friends a chance, Hange bravely sacrificed herself while battling the Rumbling, even though it seemed like a suicide mission. In a really sad scene, Hange was able to reunite with her fallen comrades in the afterlife, hoping that her actions would save many others from a terrible fate. Now, as the Scouts face Eren, there are some big moments that will conclude the anime adaptation later this week.

Attack on Titan: The End

Sound director Masafumi Mima said that they've finished working on the sound for the last episode of Attack on Titan just a few days before it airs. Here's a translation of his recent message on social media: "It seems that all that remains is to check Director Hayashi's drawings... However, the director's right fist (on the right side of the photo) I can't help but feel the response! Only a few days left until the broadcast! I know it's difficult, but... Dear MAPPA members! Thank you for your support."

Although there doesn't seem to be a new season of the series in the works, the person who made Attack on Titan, Hajime Isayama, is coming back to the world of the show next year with a short story. This story will be in the last book with artwork for the manga. We don't know much about the story yet, but Isayama has said before that he has one more tale to share, and it's about Levi.
