Lies of P Gets a Sequel!

A sequel for Lies of P is in the works!

Lies of P is getting a sequel, and in the past decade, we've seen the emergence of a new type of challenging video game. FromSoftware is the creator of this genre with games like Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, which feature tough gameplay and scary settings. These games have only gotten better with time, as seen in titles like Bloodborne and Elden Ring, which are considered some of the best in this style. But other game studios are also giving it a try, and Lies of P is one of the latest attempts in this genre.

Lies of P became very popular and got great reviews when it came out. It's a unique game because it's like a darker and scarier version of the story of Pinocchio. Imagine Pinocchio in a world like Dark Souls, with lots of scary monsters and a lot of violence, but somehow, it all fits together well. The game did so well that they're working on some extra content for it, but it's still early, so we don't know much about it yet.

The director of Lies of P, Ji Won Choi, recently talked about what's coming next for the game. They're planning to release a new update, some DLC, and they've even confirmed that they're working on a sequel to Lies of P.

He didn't share any specifics about it, but since the first game was recently launched and the extra content is still being worked on, we shouldn't anticipate the next game anytime soon. It's fantastic to see a small game doing well with both critics and players, to the extent that the developer is now focusing on improving the first game and preparing for a sequel. We're not sure if we'll hear more about Lies of P 2 in 2024, but fans can be happy knowing that there's more to come for this game series.
