Members of the House Oversight Committee are feeling uncertain following a secret briefing about UFOs.
Some people in Washington, D.C. were really happy when they found out that they would get a secret briefing about UFOs or UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) before Christmas. It seems that the members of the House Oversight Committee have already had this briefing, and some of them are confused and have more questions than answers after it.
According to Rep. Tim Burchett (a Republican from Tennessee), the group of Congress members didn't really learn anything during their recent visit to the Department of Defense. He said that the government has been dealing with UFOs since the Second World War, and it's a bit like how they kept the atomic bomb a secret during the Manhattan Project. Only a few people knew about it.
He added, "These guys can swear under oath. They can take a lie detector test because they're telling the truth as they know it."
Burchett is one of the important members of the House Oversight Committee leading the effort to make information about UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) more open to the public in the last year or two. This summer, Burchett played a significant role in the public testimony of three former members of the United States Armed Forces. These individuals had either been very close to UAPs or knew others who had experienced similar encounters.
According to a person testifying, former intelligence official David Grusch, the United States has indeed collected "non-human life forms" from crashed UFOs.
"As I've stated publicly already … biologics came with some of these recoveries, yeah," Grusch replied when asked by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-NC). When further questioned about whether these life forms were human or from outside our planet, the official confirmed that the life forms were not human and were from somewhere other than Earth.
"These sightings are not rare or isolated, they are routine. Military air crew and commercial pilots, trained observers whose lives depend on accurate identification, are frequently witnessing these phenomena. The stigma attached to UAP is real and powerful and challenges national security," former piltor Ryan Graves added during the hearing.
