Eiichiro Oda, the person who made One Piece, has written his own idea for Netflix's live-action Chopper.
There are many manga creators around the world, but Eiichiro Oda is truly unique. He's the mastermind behind One Piece, and he's considered one of the best storytellers in the business. Whether it's the manga, the anime, or the new live-action adaptation, Oda's vision is what makes One Piece so special. Recently, he shared his take on how Tony Tony Chopper should look in the live-action version, and it's definitely something you can't help but notice.
In a recent issue of SBS, a publication where Oda answers fan questions about One Piece, he revealed his own design for Chopper in the live-action adaptation. It's a design that's eye-catching in a strange and wonderful way.

As you can see in the picture above, Chopper looks a lot like a deer. His snout and small, beady eyes really give off that deer vibe. Honestly, it seems like they just put a deer in a cute costume and made it stand on its back legs. So if the One Piece show on Netflix decides to go with this look in season two, well, go for it.
The Chopper we all know and love from One Piece looks different. The little doctor has a more gentle appearance, and his design before the time skip still had a human-like quality to it. Right now, it's a bit hard to imagine how Netflix will make Chopper look in a live-action adaptation, but they'll need to come up with a plan soon. One Piece has been doing really well on Netflix since it came out at the end of August, and with season two on the way, we'll see if Chopper's new look works.
If you haven't watched Netflix's One Piece yet, you can check out the live-action version on the streaming platform right now. And if you want to know more about the show, you can read the official One Piece synopsis below:
