As fans and fellow Hollywood stars cope with the sad news of Matthew Perry's passing, the streaming service Max, which carries the popular show Friends, has made a touching gesture. They've added a special "in memoriam" screen to episodes of Friends. Perry, who played the character Chandler Bing on the show, passed away at the age of 54 over the weekend. He had recently become a part of public discussions due to the release of his autobiography, "Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing," in which he openly discussed his battles with addiction.
The actor was discovered on Saturday at a home in the Los Angeles area, and it appears that he drowned. According to the report, emergency responders were called to the house due to a reported cardiac arrest, and Perry was found in a jacuzzi at the residence. No drugs were found at the scene, and there is no suspicion of foul play.

The company that made Friends, Warner Bros. Television, also gave out a message.

Apart from being on Friends for ten years, Perry was in movies like Fools Rush In, The Whole Nine Yards, and 17 Again. After Friends, he showed up on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, a show by Aaron Sorkin that gained a cult following. He also starred in a few other shows where he was the main character, like Go On and Mr. Sunshine. Perry even co-led a new version of The Odd Couple with Thomas Lennon for three seasons on CBS.
Besides getting shout-outs from many famous folks, Perry got some love from fans in Fallout: Las Vegas. He also had tribute cards on Nick at Nite and this week's Saturday Night Live episode.
