Attack on Titan just gave us a sneak peek of its new manga story in the Fly Artbook.

Attack on Titan

The popular anime series Attack on Titan is getting ready to finish its long run after over a decade. In November, the final episodes of the anime will be released, and fans are eagerly awaiting the conclusion. One character, Levi, has been getting a lot of attention lately thanks to a sneak peek of an upcoming manga one-shot.

For those who may not know, Attack on Titan has something special in store for next April. The creator of the series, Hajime Isayama, will release a new art book in April 2024 called Attack on Titan – Fly. This book will contain lots of never-before-seen artwork, and it will also include a brand-new manga one-shot. And what's exciting is that this one-shot appears to be focused on Levi.

As you can see above, Levi is a central character, although the drawings are not very polished yet. Even so, we can make out Levi as a child in these pages, and we're going to learn more about his difficult past in this new one-shot.

In these pages, there are scenes with Levi and his mom, but there are also moments when he's on his own. Later in the story, we see Levi in painful situations, surrounded by grown-ups. It looks like the tough life in the Underground will be a part of this new story too. Fans are eager to know what will happen in this one-shot. We do know that Levi is taken in by Kenny after his mom passes away, and their relationship is quite troubled. Hopefully, we'll get to uncover more new details about Levi's past, even if it's filled with sadness.

The new one-shot won't be available until next spring, so Attack on Titan fans will have to wait a bit. In the meantime, you can get ready for the final episode of the Attack on Titan anime, which is set to air on November 3. For more information about Attack on Titan, you can read its official summary below:

"Known in Japan as Shingeki no Kyojin, many years ago, the last remnants of humanity were forced to retreat behind the towering walls of a fortified city to escape the massive, man-eating Titans that roamed the land outside their fortress. Only the heroic members of the Scouting Legion dared to stray beyond the safety of the walls – but even those brave warriors seldom returned alive. Those within the city clung to the illusion of a peaceful existence until the day that dream was shattered, and their slim chance at survival was reduced to one horrifying choice: kill – or be devoured!"
