Twitter Users Freak Out Over Massive Platform Outage

Twitter users are expressing frustration over a widespread outage that has caused many to encounter a "rate limit exceeded" message. It remains uncertain whether these outages are a result of any changes implemented by Elon Musk or other factors. The platform's owner, Elon Musk, had previously suggested the possibility of limiting the frequency of tweets and the number of Direct Messages for non-Twitter Blue users. However, due to user backlash, these policies were not implemented. The platform has undergone numerous changes, with many of them facing significant opposition from users.

As part of their efforts to encourage subscriptions to Twitter Blue, the company has outlined the benefits of the $8 subscription. These include access to subscriber-only features such as the ability to edit tweets, 1080p video uploads, and reader mode. Additionally, subscribers will undergo a review process to obtain a blue checkmark, which verifies that their accounts comply with the platform's requirements, including rules against impersonation. Accounts found to be violating the rules may face suspension without a refund.
