Many enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the offerings at San Diego Comic-Con 2023. However, due to the ongoing Writers' Strike and the potential threat of an impending actors' strike, several studios have decided to cancel their plans for the event. The fear stems from concerns that the strike's stipulations and union regulations could make it exceedingly difficult to effectively promote projects during the convention.


Despite these circumstances, Amazon Studios has assured fans that it intends to proceed with its Comic-Con presence. Specifically, it plans to unveil "Gen V," a spinoff geared towards a younger audience, derived from its immensely popular series, The Boys.

Amazon Studios has released preliminary details regarding its panel for Gen V at San Diego Comic-Con. Although several studios have opted to cancel their plans due to the ongoing Writers' Strike and the potential actors' strike, Amazon remains committed to showcasing its new spinoff series aimed at a younger audience, derived from the highly acclaimed show, The Boys.

Set at America's only college exclusively for young adult superheroes (run by Vought International), "Gen V" explores the lives of hormonal, competitive Supes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test, competing for the school's top ranking. The series stars Jaz Sinclair, Chance Perdomo, Lizze Broadway, Shelley Conn, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Derek Luh, and Asa Germann. Patrick Schwarzenegger, Sean Patrick Thomas, and Marco Pigossi recur. Michele Fazekas, Tara Butters, Eric Kripke, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Neal H. Gen V has recently confirmed the participation of several beloved characters from The Boys in its upcoming spinoff. Jessie T.
