In an interview with EW, Smulders was asked about her proudest moment in the MCU. Reflecting on her experiences, she fondly recalled a standout scene from Captain America: The Winter Soldier. She expressed her enjoyment of the moment when her character broke into an armored car to save many of the Avengers. Smulders described it as a "real human moment" and found it particularly cool because it showcased the courage and resourcefulness of her character.
Smulders also expressed gratitude for the opportunities she had to infuse humor into her performances. While her character's primary role often involves delivering crucial information and setting the stage for future events, she cherished moments where she could showcase her comedic timing and physicality through her own stunts.
She continued, "I appreciate any time that I'm also allowed to be funny, which there are a lot of opportunities to be, but usually my job is to say, Hey, audience, this is what's happening. This is what we need to get, and these are the people that are going to go try to get it, and I'll see you in 30 minutes.' The opportunities that I've had to do my own stunts and be funny have been lovely, but really my favorite moments have just been the people I've been able to meet and befriend over the years."

However, beyond specific scenes, Smulders emphasized that her most cherished memories from her journey in the MCU lie in the friendships she has formed over the years. When asked about the fate of Maria Hill in Secret Invasion, Smulders wisely refrained from confirming or denying her character's demise. In the premiere episode, Maria Hill helps reintegrate Nick Fury into the organization after his absence, only to meet a tragic end during a Skrull terrorist attack. With the existence of the multiverse now introduced, Smulders acknowledged its impact and wisely deferred to the storytellers, expressing her trust in their creative decisions. She said, "I don't know, I don't write these stories."
