Oshi no Ko Manga Sales Are Soaring Thanks to the Anime

The update confirms that Oshi no Ko has sold approximately seven million copies since the anime's release. This means that the manga's total circulation has surged from five million copies to twelve million. In other words, the manga's sales during the Oshi no Ko anime have nearly tripled, and there's still more anime content to come.


With the immense interest in Oshi no Ko following season one, the team at Doga Kobo has already confirmed that season two is in the works. The series creators, Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, continue to write the story in Weekly Young Jump. This indicates that the anime has more than three years' worth of content to adapt, and the manga continues to provide fresh material regularly.
