In an exciting development, following the introduction of Optimus Prime in Fortnite earlier this month, Epic Games has announced that several additional Transformers will be making their way into the game. Players can anticipate the arrival of these new characters through the Fortnite Transformers Pack, set to hit retail stores on October 13th, with a digital release on October 21st. The Transformers Pack will showcase two beloved figures from the franchise: Megatron and Bumblebee. Adding a unique twist, the pack will also unveil a brand-new Transformer design inspired by Fortnite's iconic Battle Bus. Those who acquire the Transformers Pack will be treated to the following content:

• 3 New Back Blings (Decepticon Insignia, Bumblebee's Wings, Bot Air Balloon)

The design for the Megatron skin in the Fortnite Transformers Pack draws heavy inspiration from the iconic G1 design featured in the 1984 Transformers animated series. Even the Energon Mace Pickaxe is a homage to a weapon Megatron wielded in the show's three-part pilot. On the other hand, Bumblebee's design closely resembles the version seen in the War for Cybertron games published by Activision. While maintaining the classic head reminiscent of the original G1 cartoon, Bumblebee's overall appearance is sleeker and more polished.
While Megatron and Bumblebee pay homage to Transformers history, the BattleBus design is entirely original, not based on any pre-existing fiction. However, it is worth noting that Hasbro, the owner of the Transformers brand, also holds the rights to create Fortnite toys. In recent years, Hasbro has released various crossover Transformers toys that transform into vehicles from franchises like Jurassic Park, Ghostbusters, and X-Men. Although no official announcements have been made, it is highly likely that the BattleBus will eventually receive its own toy figure, considering Hasbro's track record of such collaborations.
The Fortnite Transformers Pack will be accessible on multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Players on these consoles will have the opportunity to obtain and enjoy the content offered in the Transformers Pack.
