Dragon Ball Cosplay Flips The Script on Master Roshi

Although Goku has undergone numerous transformations throughout his journey in the Dragon Ball franchise, he owes much of his growth as a fighter to the guidance of his mentor, Master Roshi. While Roshi may not possess the ability to transform into a Super Saiyan or tap into the power of Ultra Instinct, Dragon Ball Super has provided fans with several opportunities to witness the Turtle Hermit in action. Taking a unique twist, one Dragon Ball cosplayer has reimagined Roshi by envisioning the character as the opposite gender.

Roshi may not possess the ability to access Ultra Instinct, but he played a vital role in paving the way for Son Goku's mastery of this god-like power. In a daring move, Master Roshi confronted Jiren, the formidable powerhouse of the Tournament of Power who posed the greatest challenge to Universe 7's members. In a surprising turn of events, the Turtle Hermit managed to evade some of Jiren's attacks, unlocking a mindset that ultimately aided Goku in unlocking the power of Ultra Instinct. Although Master Roshi's power level has never been measured as anything beyond 100, it is evident that this elderly fighter possesses more than a few tricks up their sleeve.

Roshi Returns

Roshi has been a longstanding character in the Dragon Ball series since its early days. Introduced alongside Krillin as part of Goku's journey, this human fighter possesses a unique trait—he is immortal, ensuring his enduring presence in the series. With his immortality, the Turtle Hermit has the potential to maintain a significant role in the Dragon Ball universe for the foreseeable future. In fact, he might even find a way to narrow the power gap between himself and his fellow Z-Fighters.

While Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero recently made its way to the silver screen, the comeback of the television series remains uncertain. Toei Animation has not yet announced the release dates for the highly anticipated Moro Arc and Granolah The Survivor Arc, both of which are significant storylines yet to be adapted into the anime. Whenever the Dragon Ball Super anime eventually returns, it is sure to be one of the most monumental events in the realm of anime.
