Anime Expo 2024 Announced

Anime Expo was such a massive event this year that it nearly faced issues with the Los Angeles Fire Marshal due to its overwhelming attendance. With Comicbook.com's very own Megan Peters present at the convention, the Los Angeles Convention Center was bursting at the seams with passionate anime fans seeking merchandise, anime news, and the chance to meet prominent figures in the anime industry. As expected, the organizers wasted no time in announcing that Anime Expo 2024 would take place next year, promptly sharing the dates and venue information to eager fans.

Anime Expo 2023 made significant waves in the anime world with its major announcements. Netflix made a prominent appearance at the convention, showcasing their projects in full force. DC Comics and Wit Studio unveiled The Suicide Squad Isekai, offering a captivating glimpse of Harley Quinn and Joker at the forefront of this upcoming endeavor. Netflix also delighted fans with a long-awaited trailer and release date reveal for the anticipated Pluto anime adaptation. The convention featured exclusive premieres, including the Season 3 premiere of The Rising of The Shield Hero and The First Slam Dunk. With the resounding success of the recent convention, the Anime Expo organizers concluded this year's event with closing ceremonies, where they shared details about next year's extravaganza.

Anime Expo 2024

Anime Expo is set to make its return next year from July 1st to the 4th, once again captivating fans at the renowned Los Angeles Convention Center. Although specific details about special guests and events have yet to be announced, it's understandable considering the considerable time gap until the event. Given the bombshell announcements made this year, Anime Expo 2024 is shaping up to be one of the most highly anticipated events in the anime world next year.

Having commenced in 1992, Anime Expo has been a prominent platform for over three decades, serving as a hub for sharing information and celebrating all things anime. While the conventions in 2020 and 2021 had to adapt to online formats due to the challenges posed by the coronavirus pandemic, the event has once again transitioned to an in-person gathering. As anime and manga continue to experience a surge in popularity worldwide, it is expected that Anime Expo will grow even larger in response to this enthusiastic global fandom.
