All Elite Wrestling (AEW) is steadily approaching AEW ALL IN: London. In the latest broadcast, which marked AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Tony Khan's promotion officially announced the return of AEW Dynamite: Blood & Guts on the July 19th show at Boston's TD Garden. This event will serve as the culmination of the intense rivalry between The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club. Prior to the dual steel cage clash, the two factions will collide in singles competition, featuring The Elite's Kenny Omega facing off against BCC's Wheeler Yuta. Omega seeks revenge after Yuta pinned him in their Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing in May.
Apart from the ongoing feud between The Elite and Blackpool Combat Club, two tournaments are set to unfold. Dr. Britt Baker DMD missed the previous AEW Dynamite due to illness but has been cleared to compete this Wednesday. She will square off against Ruby Soho in the first round of the Owen Hart Cup Tournament, setting the stage for a rematch from last year's women's finals.
Simultaneously, the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament will kick off. Former AEW World Tag Team Champions and current rivals Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland have been unexpectedly paired together in this random bracket. They will face AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin in the opening round.
In relation to the Blind Eliminator Tag Team Tournament, AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Adam Cole will also be in action. It remains uncertain whether MJF and Cole will compete in separate singles matches or if they will team up during the broadcast. These two competitors are currently embroiled in their own feud, with Cole coming close to defeating MJF in an AEW World Title Eliminator match that ultimately resulted in a 30-minute time limit draw.
Additionally, Jon Moxley from Blackpool Combat Club (BCC) is expected to make an appearance on AEW Dynamite, although it will likely be in a pre-recorded capacity. Currently, Moxley is in Japan participating in NJPW matches and is scheduled to wrestle on today's NJPW Independence Day pay-per-view event.
AEW Dynamite will take place at 8 PM ET on TBS. The complete card for the event can be found below...
